This registration option is for attendees that wish to participate in the pre-conference workshop in-person at Peek’n Peak, on Thursday 2/29.
The Lake Erie Integrated Geriatric Health Team (LIGHT) and the LECOM Healthy Employees build Resilient Organizations (HERO) will be presenting a geriatric and behavioral health day of lectures on Thursday, February 29th, 2024. The LECOM Pre-Conference Workshop 2024 offers the opportunity to realign the clinical training experience to be consistent with transformative healthcare systems while improving collaboration within the healthcare team.
Registrants may participate in this pre-conference geriatric and behavioral health focused workshop on Thursday, February 29th from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM. This pre-conference workshop is an add-on to the standard registration option and provides eight additional hours of CME credit.
At the end of the conference, LECOM requires all participants to complete a program evaluation as well as speaker evaluations. These surveys are used to assess the quality of speakers and lectures and to determine future CME program needs.
Cancellation Policy
Conference registrations can be cancelled for a full refund by February 28, 2024. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to cme@lecom.edu. Please review the following policies:
- Registrations cancelled after February 1, 2024 will receive a full refund less a $75 administrative processing fee.

About LIGHT
The Lake Erie Integrated Geriatric Health Team (LIGHT) is supported by a $4.4 million Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) grant. The GWEP supports the development of a health care workforce that improves health outcomes for older adults by integrating geriatrics with primary care, maximizing patient and family engagement, and transforming the health care system. The Thursday, pre-conference workshop will consist of continuing education sessions for all levels of licensed health care professionals and will prepare them for certification in geriatrics through the certifying body for each discipline.
Advancing Collaborative Care and Education for Student Success (ACCESS) is supported by a $1.9 million Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training Program for Professionals (BHWET) grant. The BHWET aims to increase access to quality behavioral health services for populations across the lifespan in high need and high demand areas and to deliver interprofessional collaborative, team-based care, This grant will support the behavioral health focused lectures.
The Thursday, pre-conference workshop will consist of continuing education sessions for all levels of licensed health care professionals.

This registration option will permit the attendee to participate in the conference in-person on Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at Peek'n Peak Resort and Conference Center. The registration table will open at 7:30 AM. The daily lecture schedule is as follows:
